Templates

Templates let you save recurring work schedules and apply them with a single tap when creating new records. They eliminate repetitive data entry for routine workdays.

What a Template Saves

A template stores all the fields of a work record:

  • Clock-in and clock-out times
  • Break duration
  • Record type (regular work, business trip, etc.)
  • Project and activity assignment
  • Notes and custom fields

Creating a Template

  1. Go to Templates from the side menu.
  2. Tap the + button.
  3. Give the template a name (e.g., "Morning Shift", "Home Office", "Client Visit").
  4. Fill in the fields you want to pre-populate.
  5. Save.

You can also create a template directly from an existing work record.

Using a Template

When creating a new work record, tap the template picker to see your saved templates. Select one and all its fields are applied to the new record. You can still modify any field before saving.

Managing Templates

  • Tap a template to edit its details
  • Delete templates you no longer need

Tip: Templates are ideal for shift workers or anyone with a repeating schedule. Create templates like "Morning shift 6:00–14:00", "Afternoon shift 14:00–22:00", or "Home office 9:00–17:30" and add records in seconds.
