Work Requests
If your profile is connected to a company, you can submit work requests for time off that require manager approval.
Submitting a Request
- Go to Work Requests from the side menu (this option only appears for company-linked profiles).
- Tap the + button to create a new request.
- Select the request type — vacation, sick leave, doctor visit, business trip, etc.
- Choose the date range — start and end dates for the time off.
- Add a comment (optional) — provide any additional context.
- Submit the request.
Request Status
Each request goes through an approval workflow:
- Pending (gray) — submitted and waiting for manager review
- Accepted (green) — approved by your manager, the days are recorded automatically
- Rejected (red) — declined by your manager
- Canceled (orange) — you canceled the request before it was reviewed
Managing Requests
- View all your requests in a list, sorted by status
- Tap a request to see its details, including any comments from your manager
- Cancel a pending request if your plans change
- Pull down to refresh the list and check for status updates
How It Connects to Records
When a work request is approved, the corresponding work records (vacation days, sick days, etc.) are automatically created in your Monthly Table. These records are linked to the request and may be locked from editing.
Tip: Work Requests require an internet connection — you'll see a notification if you're offline when trying to submit or view requests.
